Century of Suffering - March in Manchester on the 100th Anniversary of Cruel Greyhound Racing
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY HAS ARISEN TO GIVE THE GREYHOUNDS YOUR VOICE
Join CAGED Nationwide & Candys Hound Rescue International along with a number of dog rescue charities and greyhound advocates to mark 100 years of cruel greyhound racing by peacefully marching through Manchester (The city where the very first UK greyhound racing track opened in July 1926)
Strictly NO dogs permitted on the march due to heavy footfall and traffic
The March will begin at 12 noon on 25.07.26 - setting off from All Saints Park
Followed by
A Picnic in the Park - beginning at 2pm where Greyhounds will be welcome 'weather permitting'
This march will act as a mark of respect to the many greyhounds who have lost their lives and to those who remain to suffer today therefore it must be peaceful
Leaflets and flyers will be provided and T-shirts will be on sale shortly.
