JILL LLEWELLIN – UPDATE 24/01/20
This case where we allege animal welfare offence against Ms Llewellin will not start on Monday as had been originally planned due to the unforeseen serious illness of our veterinary expert. The case was heard before the court yesterday where the District Judge agreed to adjourn the case to enable us to get a further veterinary report. The need for this adjournment is a disappoint and the need to get a second veterinary report does mean that we need to raise further funds in the case.
We are grateful to our original expert for the hard work she has contributed to the case and wish her a speedy recovery.
The new trial date will be fixed on the 19th February 2020 when we will provide a further update.
Court case is now penciled in for June 2020, COVID-19 may affect this date
