GREYHOUND BOARD OF GREAT BRITAIN AWARDS PROTEST 2017
The Greyhound Board of Great Britain hold an annual award event, where they congratulate themselves for greyhound exploitation. They put on an expensive black tie event and invite the biggest culprits in the world of greyhound abuse. We will be there to give these abusers a welcome. This year the awards will be held at The Brewery in London, concerned members of the public & greyhound welfare advocates contacted 'The Brewery' and asked the management if they were aware of the cruelty and exploitation involved in greyhound racing to which the Brewery shunned all concerns and even went as far as blocking anyone who tried to educate them on their social media outlets.
This year the protest is organised by three groups, Caged Nationwide, Birmingham Greyhound Protection & Pet Levrieri. We will also be joined by actress Pauline Mclynn who has amazing respect and compassion for the greyhounds.
Speeches will be held between 7pm and 8pm followed by a one minute silence. Speeches by Amber Stevens & Michael James for Caged Nationwide, Kerry Elliman for Birmingham Greyhound Protection, Stefania Traini for Pet Levrieri, Mohneeta Dhadli for Greyhounds Many Nations One Voice & actress Pauline Mclynn.
