Racing industry thugs have been making ongoing threats against Caged, fabricating material on social media and setting up hate pages.
Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have allowed this to continue regardless of reports made. This appears to have greatly escalated since we began a prosecution of a GBGB licensed greyhound trainer in 2018.
The regulatory body of the greyhound racing industry (GBGB) is somewhat made up of former police officers and led by a former Chief Superintendent. Its a great pity they cannot use their experience to control their racing partakers to conduct themselves in a professional manner.
We have received a number of calls from racing industry partakers claiming that threats have been made towards them whenever they have raised concerns about greyhound welfare, but sadly they tell us that no action has been taken by the authorities on their behalf and that other owners and trainers are now too frightened to speak up.

Drug dealing greyhound exporters/pedlars, talk amongst the industry of a top 20 dog killers, and a handful of greyhound enthusiasts who recognise their industry is beginning to fragment due to suppression and a serious lack of welfare.
