Marley's Story

CAGED northwest was contacted by a concerned man who was worried about the welfare of this Whippet X Saluki (Lurcher). He told us that he had been feeding his neighbours dog everyday from over the fence, we approached the neighbour and she admitted she couldn't afford to care for Marley any more due to government cuts. She had no issues in handing Marley over and said she wanted what was best for him. We contacted a rescue group who regularly help us out and then we took Marley to the vets to be checked over. Upon viewing Marley he was concerned about his lack of weight & he also said he had slight gingivitis. Marley was given all necessary vet treatement and neutered. Marley did not get a lot of interest while up for rehoming so we have decided he should stay with CAGED and he has turned out to be such a fun loving gentle little boy, with bags of character.
