Project End Greyhound Exports
CAGED Nationwide have been liaising with airlines since January 2018 in relation to an embargo on the carriage of greyhounds for commercial ‘use’.
Air New Zealand was the first airline to agree to such an embargo.
Impressively they agreed without hesitation.
Similarly, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Jet Airways and MASKargo (Malaysia Airlines) have demonstrated their ethical character by also agreeing to introduce an embargo.
We are still liaising with or awaiting replies from other airlines.

and international animal welfare organisations, animal rescue groups,
members of the veterinary profession, MPs, and celebrities

Qatar Airways introduces embargo to help protect greyhounds!!
Following our discussions with Qatar Airways Head of Cargo;
Qatar airways and Qatar cargo have very kindly placed a full official embargo on all greyhounds to countries where they are exported to for breeding or racing and have outdated or no laws to protect them from suffering or barbaric forms of killing.
Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Pakistan, India.
This embargo includes a maximum of 2 pet dogs to any other country.
No dogs will be accepted on their flights, if being shipped for commercial use.
