The Caged North West Sky Banner
On the weekend of 26th and 27th July 2014, the sky banner covered most regions of the North West and was flown as an anonymous message in hope that it would prompt people to research greyhound racing before attending a night out at a dog tracks.
We took the opportunity to fly the message 'Greyhounds - U BET THEY DIE ' over most of the North West during one of the busiest weekends in history.
The Sky Banner took off in Blackpool during the busy kite festival and headed directly for Liverpool where approximately 1 million tourist had headed to see the Giants.
The following day the sky banner was also flown over Manchester Piccadilly Gardens in conjunction with a memorial held for the dogs on Greyhound Remembrance Day, where hundreds of people had attended the square with their greyhounds.
